Deeply Explore the legacy of the Chengdu FISU World University Games and enrich the platform for international university sports and culture exchanges.

In order to build the International University Sports Culture Exchange Center at a higher level, the delegation had discussion with Lilia, Director of the FISU Education and Culture Center, and her colleagues Virginie and Adam.

At the beginning, FISU President Leonz Eder welcomed CDSU online and expressed his gratitude for CDSU's long-term contributions to the FISU. After that, they discussed the construction of the International University Sports Culture Exchange Center, aiming to create a "model room" for FISU's cooperation with universities and promote it globally.

Both sides have reached a consensus that the construction of the "International University Sports Culture Exchange Center" can be approached from two main aspects: Firstly, by leveraging the excellent sports facilities of CDSU's new campus, more Championships and World Cups of FISU can be hosted, providing a superior competitive platform for university students worldwide. Secondly, following the "Chengdu FISU World Conference" in 2023, CDSU can undertake another academic exchange event – the "FISU Academic Forum," positioning CDSU as the only university to host FISU's two highest-level sports academic forums, thereby creating a comprehensive academic exchange platform for world university students.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the FISU. Secretary Shu has stated that CDSU will continuously cooperate with FISU, leveraging its advantages in education, sports, arts, liberal arts and history, and foreign languages to improve the composition of books related to the history of FISU. Furthermore, CDSU will deeply integrate its featured medical specialties with the FISU Medical Committeeto jointly promote the development of international sports medicine. These initiatives aim to enhance the in-depth cooperation between FISU and CDSU, creating a "new highlight" in our collaborative efforts.

Based on FISU’s resources support, CDSU aims to build a new benchmark for the Healthy Campus Initiative.

CDSU delegation engaged in an in-depth exchange with Mr. Fernando, Director of Development and Healthy Campus Department of the FISU, and discussed the matters related to the construction of CDSU Healthy Campus. The meeting was chaired by Director Fernando with the participation of Lilia, Director of the Education and Culture Center of the FISU, and relevant personnel.

Both sides reached a consensus on the construction of the FISU Healthy Campus. First, the certification of the Healthy Campus will be completed around September to October this year, with the guidance of FISU. After that, CDSU will submit an application to the FISU to establish the world's first FISU Healthy Campus Training and Research Center to expand its influence in Asia and even the world.
