From May 14 to 16, 2023, the final of the 17th "Challenge Cup" Sichuan Provincial College Students' Extracurricular Academic and Scientific Works Competition was held at Chengdu University. More than 100,000 teachers and students with over 1,000 pieces of work from 112 universities participated in the competition. After the selection process, a total of 52 pieces of work for the grand prize, 109 for the first prize, 204 for the second prize, and 571 for the third prize were evaluated.

10 pieces of works selected by Chengdu Sport University were barged to the forefront, reaping 1 grand prize, 2 first prizes, 1-second prize, and 5 third prizes, among which the Grand Prize project was selected for the National Competition. This also marked the best achievement of our university in the "Challenge Cup" Sichuan Provincial Competition over the past ten years!

During the final, Wu Hongli, Vice President of CDSU, led the Department of Student Affairs, leaders in charge of student work from some schools, and the secretary of the Communist Youth League Branch of CDSU to learn about the "Challenge Cup" in the exhibition hall of Chengdu University.
