On the morning of May 19, Liu Jin, Director General of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges and the Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs of the Ministry of Education, and Cai Guangjie, Deputy Director General of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, and the Delegation visited Chengdu Sport University and attended the work meeting. Attendees of the meeting included Shu Weiping, Secretary of the Party Committee of CDSU; Li Lin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of CDSU; Ou Xuesong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Publicity and United Front Work of the Party Committee of CDSU and Director of the Organizing Committee Office of the FISU World Conference.

At the meeting, Secretary Shu Weiping extended a warm welcome to Ms. Liu and Ms. Cai for their visit to Chengdu Sport University. Secretary Shu Weiping introduced the university's development history, talent training, discipline construction, international exchanges, social services, and other aspects and reported the preparatory work for the 31st Summer World University Games and the FISU World Conference in Chengdu. He stated that Chengdu Sport University would continue to demonstrate its advantages and characteristics fully, adhere to high-level opening and cooperation, and constantly expand the depth and breadth of international cooperation so as to contribute to promoting the building of a competitive sporting province and a leading sporting nation.

Ms. Cai Guangjie appreciated our university's accomplishments. It is hoped that the university will be able to make strategic planning by summarizing the experience, and identifying the current problems, thus carrying out more active measures in student enrollment publicity, talent training, curriculum construction, and other areas, thereby constantly advancing the university's opening up to a new height.

Ms. Liu Jin praised our university's efforts in international cooperation, exchange, and work in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan affairs. She expressed that our university has time-honored history and rich cultural heritage. The foundation for exchanges and cooperation is solid, which features driving the integration of sports and education so that more ideas and methods can be applied to education opening up in a new era.

After the meeting, to learn in detail about the university's talent training, education, and teaching work, Ms. Liu Jin, Ms. Cai Guangjie, and the delegation, along with university leaders, visited the Comprehensive Hall and the Sports History Museum to watch rhythmic gymnastics and martial arts performances.
