The 2023 National Women's Weightlifting Championships were held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, from April 15 to 19. The women's weightlifting team from Chengdu Sport University participated in the competition and claimed three gold medals and a seventh place. Fang Lin, a postgraduate student of the 2023 class and weightlifter of the School of Competitive Sports, achieved three gold medals, the best of her sports career. She won three championships in Snatch, Clean and Jerk and the total points in weightlifting. You Dandan won seventh place in the Clean and Jerk group.

The achievements made in this championship are recorded as the best result in our university's women's weightlifting history after the breakthrough made in the 2022 National Women's Weightlifting Championships. After the competition, the coaches and athletes made a thoughtful summary. They will make steady efforts in the future training and get ready for China's 15th National Games.
