On the morning of March 28, 2022, Chengdu Sport University (CDSU) held an online conference with Ms. Wang Bingjie, Head of Deakin University (Australia) China, and Wang Duoxiao, Director of the Chengdu Representative Office of the Victoria Government of Australia, to conduct the first discussion on the cooperation between the two universities. The video conference was held at the International Exchange Center of CDSU, and relevant personnel from the International Office participated in the conference online.

     During the meeting, the two parties reached a consensus on holding the activity of the "International Sports Week of Chengdu Sport University and Universities in Victoria". Both parties hoped to take this opportunity to build a multi-level exchange platform between CDSU and sports universities in Victoria, with the establishment of a new cooperation model in academic exchange, research on sports, and joint training of postgraduates, so as to seek multi-faceted cooperation opportunities in sports in higher education and deepen cooperation and exchange between the universities. After that, the two parties also discussed in detail the exchange programs for faculty members and students, the "2+2" and "3+1" cooperation in joint programs at the undergraduate level.

         Deakin University was founded in 1974. It is a first-class public university seated in Victoria, Australia, and one of the top 50 universities listed in the QS World Young University Rankings. Its School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences has been ranked among the top sports management programs in the world for years and has been ranked No.1 worldwide in the Academic Rankings of World Universities (Faculty of Sport) for two consecutive years.
