On the afternoon of March 28, CDSU held a virtual session with Aix-Marseille Université in France. The relevant personnel of the Football College and the International Office attended the session.
During the session, both sides negotiated the short-term exchange program for teachers and students, the exchange program for graduate students, the student internships program, and the cooperation in running schools of the Football School and Aix-Marseille Université, and reached a preliminary intention of cooperation.
This is the first negotiation between the two universities. Mr. Jérôme Laurin, Head of Training and Sports Performance Optimization, School of Sports Science at Aix-Marseille Université, is looking forward to a substantial collaboration with CDSU as soon as possible.
Aix-Marseille Université was formed on January 1, 2012 through the merger of three universities: the Université de Provence (Aix-Marseille I), the Université de la Méditerranée (Aix-Marseille II), and Université Paul Cézanne (Aix-Marseille III). It is the largest public university in France as well as the largest university in French-speaking countries and regions. Aix-Marseille Université receives a grant of 750 million euros a year from the French government, the university with the most education funding in the France public university system. Aix-Marseille Université cooperates with hundreds of research and teaching partners, including École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) and the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). It is a member of the European University Association (EUA) and Unione delle Università del Mediterraneo (UNIMED).
