On March 22, Chengdu Sport University (CDSU) held an online meeting with Israeli Wingate University (Wingate) for cooperation discussion, which was attended by CDSU's Faculty of Basketball and Volleyball, the Faculty of Athletics and Swimming, the School of Football, and the International Office.

      At this meeting, the two sides discussed matters such as short-term exchange programs between faculty members and students, training of high-level basketball, football, and volleyball coaches, and cooperation in competitions. They initially reached a cooperation intention and agreed to conduct further in-depth exchanges.

       Debbie Hellerstein and Ayelet Dunsky, the two deans of the School of Sports and Education Sciences of Wingate, looked forward to cooperation between the two universities again, and sincerely hoped to establish a substantive cooperation relationship with CDSU as soon as possible.

       The online conference received the attention and support of the Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu.

       As Israel's leading national sports and sports center, Wingate was founded in 1957. Located in Jerusalem, Israel, Wingate has trained a large number of high-quality sports professionals for Israel and enjoys a high reputation in the Israeli and international sports circles. CDSU attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation and has been cooperating with Wingate for many years. The two universities signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in October 2021. The disciplines and professional development of the two universities are similar and compatible with each other and a close friendship has been formed between the two universities.
