The 2022-2023 National Skeleton Championship ended on March 14, 2023, in Yanqing District, Beijing. Three athletes from Chengdu Sport University, including Li Yuxi, were selected as the national team members to participate in the competition representing Sichuan.

As a grade 2022 postgraduate student from the School of Sports Training and an athlete of the School of Athletic Sports, Li Yuxi won second place in a mixed group and third place in the individual event. Wang Xinyi, an undergraduate student in grade 2022 from the School of Sports Training and an athlete of the School of Athletic Sports, finished fifth place in the mixed group and sixth place in the individual event; Zheng Xinyu placed fifth in the individual event, and sixth in the mixed group.

This championship is also the first national large-scale event held in the National Sliding Center in the Yanqing Olympic Zone after successfully holding the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games. The three athletes from our university had excellent performance and completed the competition successfully. Li Yuxi, who struggled with injuries, carried forward the fighting spirit of tenacity and won a silver and a bronze; Wang Xinyi and Zheng Xinyu, the young athletes of our university, were first elected to the national skeleton team in 2022, overcame difficulties and competed with tenacity.
