On the afternoon of October 19, witnessed by Consul-General Ran Peleg and Deputy Consul-General Ehab Hino of the Israeli Consulate General in Chengdu, Chengdu Sport University (CDSU) and the Academic College at Wingate held an online signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding on inter-university cooperation and the opening ceremony of the training session on the mechanism, treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries. The meeting was presided over by Deputy Consul-General Ehab Hino.
Consul-General Ran Peleg delivered a speech on behalf of the Consulate General. He said that the Israeli Consulate General in Chengdu has held an important position in building a bridge between Israel and Southwest China since its establishment. Israel has attached great importance to exchange and cooperation with Sichuan in various fields such as culture and education. With the efforts of the past few years, CDSU and the Academic College at Wingate have built close ties successfully through the consulate. He believed that with the efforts of the three parties, Chengdu Sport University and the Academic College at Wingate would develop more cooperation projects successively, becoming a benchmark for exchange among universities from Sichuan and Israel.
President Pan Xiaofei delivered a speech on behalf of the University. President Pan expressed sincere gratitude to Consul-General Ran Peleg, Deputy Consul-General Ehab Hino, and the staff of the Consulate for promoting the cooperation between the two universities. In addition, he introduced the history of the university and discipline arrangement, especially the development of sports medicine. He said that CDSU has attached great importance to international exchange and cooperation, and has established a foundation for cooperation and profound friendship with the Academic College at Wingate for many years, with certain achievements made. The two universities have similar disciplinary development, with a high matching rate. He believed that the signing of the memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two universities would be a milestone in the exchange between the two universities, and both parties would push forward the cooperation in various fields for win-win results.
President Ronnie Lidor delivered a speech on behalf of the Academic College at Wingate. President Ronnie extended greetings to President Pan Xiaofei, Consul-General Ran Peleg, Deputy Consul-General Ehab Hino, all the guests and trainees, and thanked all three-party personnel who prepared the signing ceremony and the opening ceremony of training. He said that this special meeting not only strengthened the friendship and deepened cooperation between the two universities, but also provided a good platform for the sharing of knowledge in the fields of sports, health and medicine between the two universities, as well as created opportunities for communication and exchange for young teachers, researchers and students from the two universities. President Pan and President Ronnie officially signed the memorandum of understanding on inter-university cooperation between the two universities at the meeting. Professor Shayke Hutzler from the Academic College at Wingate carried out the first theme training for CDSU.
