From October 4th to October 15th, 2019, Mr. Liu Jinli from the Wushu school of CDSU led a team to Europe, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationships between China and the region. During this tour of the four countries, the teachers and students of our school have been highly recognized and praised for their performances of the Chinese martial arts culture.
The first show was held in the DK ZRKADLOVY HAJ on the Danube River in Bratislava, Slovakia. The theme of the performance was "Chinese Wushu Night". Mr. Lin Lin, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovakia, attended the event for the inaugural speech. The event was highly concerned by the local and various media. The Xinhua News Agency presented a video clip of the wonderful performance in a report entitled "The Night of Chinese Martial Arts" in Slovakia.

While participating in the tour, our school team actively carried out exchanges with the local government and the higher education institutions in the region. During the exchange in Pilan, Slovenia, the mayor of the city expressed the hope that they could learn,build and share from each other, jointly create new channels for martial arts cultural exchanges between the two countries, build a new platform for martial arts exchanges, and jointly promote the development of martial arts culture in China and Slovenia, work together to promote the internationalization of martial arts.

During the European exchange, the team conducted joint shows with the Masaryk University in Brno in Czech Republic, the Confucius Institute at the Peggy University in Hungary, and the Confucius Institute at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. The event was praised by foreign friends; furthermore, they gave a high evaluation to the professional skills of our students, and expressed their great welcome and hope that our school will carry out exchanges and cooperation with the Confucius Institutes in the region to inherit the Chinese martial arts culture.

The trip of our school’s Wushu team to Europe not only showed the country's marvelous traditional martial arts to the region, but also showed the professional teaching and training level of our school. Furthermore, they played a good role in the exchange of our school and laid the foundation for future cooperation in the region.
