 Introduction

As the only major that can be granted medical undergraduate degree in Chengdu Sports University, the major of Chinese medicine has more than 50 years of history and has been approved to be the first batch among leading majors in Sichuan Province and of national characteristics by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance. The origin of Chengdu Sports Institute can be traced back to the earliest established traditional Chinese medicine orthopedic specialty. Through years of construction, with its "combination of sports and medicine" features, Chengdu Sports University has achieved a great influence both at home and abroad.

 The professional has more than 70 professional teachers, including professors, associate professor of more than 40 people, doctoral tutor 4 people, with the State Council government subsidies experts, academic and technical leaders in Sichuan Province, the Ministry of education of higher education and technical teaching professional committee, well-known Of sports medicine experts, Chinese medicine trauma experts and so on.

    There are Sport Medicine, traditional Chinese Medicine trauma and other eight teaching and research room and a professional library, an experimental center, an affiliated sports hospital, two research institutes includingInstitute of Sports Medicine and Health and Zheng Huaixian bone injury Institute, as well as a health massage skills training center.

    The highlight is that traditional Chinese Medicine Trauma and Sports Physiology are listed as the State Sports General Administration of leading majors,while Sports Medicine is listed as a leading major in Sichuan Province. The experimental center is equipped with modern scientific research equipment and is named as the State Sports General Administration and the Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory, with the Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, Sichuan University Huaxi Hospital, Sichuan Orthopedic Hospital, Chengdu First People's Hospital, Chengdu Second People's Hospital, Chengdu Third People's Hospital as the practice teaching base.

     In recent years, teachers and professors in Chinese Medicine has completed more than 70 scientific research projects, of which more than ten has been awarded Technical Progress Award by the State Sports General Administration and the Sichuan provincial government.

    In the treatment of sports injuries, the diagnosis of motor technology, sports fatigue, human function assessment and other research areas, Chinese Medicine in Chengdu Sports University has a national leading position and a certain impact in the international community. With the publication of Chinese Orthopedic science, Injury Diagnosis and Treatment, Injury Surgery, Sports Trauma, Zheng’s Injury Theory and Clinical, Sports Bone Trauma, Soft Tissue Injury , Injury medicine and prescription "and other more than 30 monographs. The major enrolls Clinical Medicine and Chinese and Western Medicine of two first-level disciplines and three secondary disciplines of master's degree graduate students. In 2014, Chinese Medicine was approved to enroll master students in this major.

     We aim to cultivate graduates with moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic integrity, multi-skilled application talents with good humanities, science and professional quality, basic theory and skills of Biology, Chinese Medicine, Clinical Medicine, Sports Medicine and Traditional Chinese Journal of Orthopedics and Traumatology who can engage in Chinese medicine in multiple Medical systems and sports teams, especially traditional Chinese medicine orthopedics, sports medicine clinical medical, teaching and research work.

     Major professional courses are: traditional Chinese medicine bone scoring science, traditional Chinese medicine bone injury, Chinese medicine tendon injury, Chinese medicine bone disease, orthopedic surgery, sports and medical supervision.
