Introduction

This program boasts a staff of 8 professors and associate professors, as well as 17 lecturers, all of whom adept in researching and teaching, with 3 as judges of the National Examinations for Tourist Guides. Among our staff are experts with state allowance, experts engaged in National Social Science Fund evaluation work, and academic professionals of the State General Administration of Sport.

 Pioneering in sports tourism, this program has 13 national-level and provincial-level projects underway, harvesting 8 awards in various levels. Having published a host of monographs and textbooks, the faculty has garnered awards in social scientific research and teaching, with “Basic Skills of Sports Tourism” rated as a provincial-level excellent course. Equipped with the featured Sports Tourism and Outdoor Sports Lab funded by the Ministry of Finance, the Faculty of Leisure Sports has cooperated with the Faculty of Economics and Management in establishing a trial zone for sports industry management.

We aim to cultivate professionals with a sound grasp of modern management theories, tourism management skills, sports theories and practices, who will be qualified in orchestrating touring activities for enterprises, education institutions, government departments, industry associations and etc.

Careers

This program will enable candidates to work as tour guides or tour planners for enterprises, education institutions, government departments and industry associations.
