The work scopes of International Students Division

The International Students Division is responsible for the enrollment of international students, and the management of their studies, daily life and safeties. The main work scopes and responsibilities are below:

1. According to the requirements of the school development plans, formulate the development goals and strategies of the international students coming to CDSU, continuously expand the scale of international students and improve their levels.

2. Responsible for the enrollment propagandas, data reviews, admission procedures for international students in China. Responsible for the teaching coordination and management of international students in CDSU, and guide the relevant departments to train and educate the international students in CDSU.

3. Receive government’s scholarship students and review qualification for scholarship.

4. Assist and cooperate with relevant government departments to do a good job in the political, safety and social management; administer international students’ daily life and handle the emergencies which may happen to international students.

5. Strictly follow the regulations formulated by relevant national departments and school financial regulations to make arrangements and management of the funds for international students in China.

6. Responsible for receiving and holding various short-term classes and cultural classes.
