On the morning of July 29, a delegation of seven people from the State University of Jakarta ("UNJ"), including Komarudin, Rector of the UNJ, Teguh Trianung Djoko Susanto, Chairman of the School-Enterprise Management Committee, and Susilo, Director of the International Cooperation Division, paid a visit to Chengdu Sport University ("CDSU"). Xu Wanbing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of CDSU, warmly received the guests in the Reception Room of the No.1 Administrative Building. Li Zaihui, Director of the International Office of CDSU, Ma Zhi, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Guo Jinchuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Physical Education, and other relevant personnel from the International Office attended the exchange symposium.
At the symposium, Deputy Secretary Xu Wanbing welcomed Rector Komarudin and the delegation and introduced to them the basic information about CDSU, the construction of academic disciplines, CDSU's services for the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, and its role in hosting the rhythmic gymnastics competition and organizing the Chengdu FISU World Conference. Deputy Secretary Xu Wanbing stated that in recent years, CDSU has actively integrated into the Belt and Road Initiative, promoted the high-level opening up and high-quality development of education at the university, established good cooperative relations with universities and research institutions in countries and regions along the Belt and Road, and carried out extensive and in-depth exchanges with them. He hoped that both universities focus on their respective advantageous disciplines and leverage the opportunities presented by the Belt and Road Initiative. Adhering to the principles of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, he proposed implementing cooperative projects such as student exchange programs, academic exchanges between faculty members, and collaborative innovation, so as to promote cultural exchange between the two countries and facilitate the new development of education in both universities.
Rector Komarudin expressed his gratitude to Deputy Secretary Xu Wanbing for his warm reception. He highly praised the achievements attained by CDSU in its innovative development over the past 80 years and introduced basic information about the State University of Jakarta. Rector Komarudin agreed with the proposal for cooperation presented by Deputy Secretary Xu Wanbing and expressed his willingness to vigorously promote the establishment of friendly relations with CDSU, facilitating pragmatic cooperation between the two universities.
After the symposium, Rector Komarudin and the delegation, accompanied by Deputy Secretary Xu Wanbing, visited CDSU's Sports History Museum.
