On the afternoon of November 15, the Consul of the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chengdu, Roman Musil,and the representative of the School of Physical Education and Sports of the Charles University in Prague visited the school. Shu Weiping, the president of CDSU, met with the guests in the first office building. The International Office, the School of Sports Medicine and Health and the school of Wushu were accompanied by relevant personnel.
In the meeting, President Shu warmly welcomed the guests from Czech Republic, introduced the subject characteristics and advantages of the school to the guests. President Shu said that Chinese medicine and martial arts are the two flowers of CDSU. They can not only strengthen the body, treat injuries, but also cultivate the soul of Chinese culture. Subsequently, President Shu highly affirmed the development of the Czech Republic in the winter sports. The CDSU also took the lead in setting up the Sichuan Winter Sports Association last year, and actively responded to the national “North Ice South Extension, East Snow West Expansion” development plan.
The representative of the School of Physical Education and Sports of the Charles University in Prague thanked the school for its hospitality and spoke of the school’s good campus atmosphere. He briefed President Shu on the history and development of the ice hockey in Czech, as well as the curriculum and sports training methods of the School of the School of Physical Education and Sports of the Charles University in Prague, and warmly invited President Shu to visit the Czech Republic next year to sign an inter-school agreement, in order to provide a higher and better platform for the bilateral developments.
After the meeting, the delegation watched the martial arts performance of the Wushu School and visited the School Sports History Museum and the Institute of Sports Medicine and Health.
